I don’t care if the sun don’t shine

             G                   Dm          G                 Dm

The sun contains a ray, they label Vitamin D,

        G                      F          D                       G

if you like Vitamin D, it's quite alright with me.

          G                  Dm       G                   Dm

But I am here to say that I like vitamin love,

              G                       F                     D                     G       - D

but I can't get vitamin love with that doggone sun above.

G

I don't care if the sun don't shine,

                                                                                     D

I get my lovin' in the evening time, when I'm with my baby.

D7                            D

It's no fun with the sun around,

     D7                               D                                  D7         G

but I get going when the sun goes down, and I meet my baby.

              G7                                                                                    C

That's when we kiss and kiss and kiss, and then we kiss some more,

          A                     A7

don't ask how many times we kiss,

        D                    D7

at a time like this, who keeps score?

        G

So I don't care if the sun don't shine,

                                     Em                     C          D           G      - D

I get my lovin' in the evening time, when I'm with my baby.

+ G - C - A7 - D - D7         G - Em - C - D - G - D     + CHORUS   +

         G

So I don't care if the sun don't shine,

       A7                                                         Am  D          G      - D - G

I get my lovin' in the evening time, when I'm with my baby.
