1. Oh ho ho, just like a yo yo, oh ho ho, just like a yo yo.

G F G F

Well, it’s hard for me to see how you got such a hold on me,

G F G F

first I’m up and then I’m down, then my heart goes around and around,

C

Well I bet you five dollars, I’m the only fool

who’ll climb up a string for you.

G F G F

And I need, I say, I can’t break away, you control every little thing I do,

Em A C

I used to be a swinger until you wrapped me round your finger.

G F G F

2. Just like a yo yo (like a jo jo), just like a yo yo (like a yo yo).

G F

Turning, turning, love keeps a-burning,

G - F

like a fire in my heart when we’re apart,

G - F G

but when we’re back together, you keep changin’ like the weather.

F G F G F

3. Oh yeah, like a yo yo, oh, just like a yo yo (hear what I say !),

G - F G - F

like a yo yo , just like a yo yo.

G F G F

Oh, where I go and what I do, well, it all just depends on you,

G F G F

you build me up just to let me down, but I dare not to make a sound.

C

’Cause I’m so afraid you will cast me away,

like a beat up, worn out toy.

G F G F

So I hold on tight with all my might, just to be your lovin’ boy.

Em A

No matter what they say or do,

C

I’m gonna bounce right back to you now.

G F G F

4. Just like a yo yo (like a jo jo), just like a yo yo (like a yo yo).
